McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the host Franklin Yellowjackets (Stockton, CA), 45-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, McClatchy advances its record to 17-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Fairfield (Fairfield, CA) to play the Falcons in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 8-2. Fairfield won 64-0 in their recent league battle against West Campus (Sacramento, CA)

The Yellowjackets now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Edison for a San-Joaquin Athletic Association battle on Monday, September 23. Franklin will play a Vikings team coming off a 36-12 league win over Weston Ranch (Stockton, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-4.
