In Saturday's non-league outing, the host LaVille Lancers soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 win over the La Porte Slicers.
The Lancers (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Culver Community (Culver, IN). The Cavaliers enter the non-league outing with a 10-1 record. In their last outing, Culver Community tipped Westville (Westville, IN), 8-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Slicers confront the Portage Indians (Portage, IN) in a Duneland outing, on Tuesday, September 24. La Porte will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Indians enter the outing with a 2-4 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Griffith (Griffith, IN).
