In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 win over the Robert C. Byrd Eagles.
The Maroon Knights (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV). The Blue Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 0-9 record. In their last outing, Magnolia by Tyler (Sistersville, WV), 4-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) in a Big Ten outing, on Tuesday, September 24. Robert C. Byrd will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Colts enter the outing with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Elkins (Elkins, WV).
