In Saturday's non-league contest, the Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA) soccer team routed the visiting Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA), by a tally of 9-0.
Next, the Defenders face the Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 26. Warrior Run will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 8-2 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Sullivan County (Laporte, PA).
The Black Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Penn-Mansfield (Mansfield, PA). The Tigers enter the PIAA District IV-AA contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, North Penn-Mansfield was overwhelmed by Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
