The Iona Prep Gaels felled the host Chaminade Flyers football team by a score of 26-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Gaels face the Rye Country Day Wildcats (Rye, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Iona Prep will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.
The Flyers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY). The Crusaders go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Stepinac toppled Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY), 27-0, in a non-league challenge.
