In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Foothill Falcons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Albany Cougars.

The Falcons (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Carondelet (Concord, CA). The Cougars come into the challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Carondelet beat Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, September 23. Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Pride come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Saint Mary's (Albany, CA).
