The Center Cougars beat the host Chavez Titans volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Cougars (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras come into the challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln beat Bear River (Grass Valley, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Titans play the Stagg Delta Kings (Stockton, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, September 23. Chavez will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Delta Kings come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to McNair (Stockton, CA).
