Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) and the host Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM), observed St. Michael's's volleyball team hold off Laguna Acoma by a tally of 2-1.

The Horsemen (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Capital was tipped by St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Hawks meet the Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 30. Laguna Acoma will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
