In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Liberty Lions volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the West Campus Warriors.

The Lions (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Patriots come into the challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Heritage edged Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Valley Vikings (Sacramento, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, September 23. West Campus will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to Armijo (Fairfield, CA).
