Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Apollo moves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Todd County Central (Elkton, KY) to meet the Rebels in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 12-3. Todd County Central lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY)

The Green Waves now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Edmonson County for a District 11 test on Tuesday, September 24.
