Ohio High School Soccer - River Valley knocks off Bellefontaine

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host River Valley Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Bellefontaine Chieftains.

The Vikings (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Highland (Marengo, OH). The Fighting Scots go into the Mid-Ohio outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Highland Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH), 2-2, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Chieftains confront the Jonathan Alder Pioneers (Plain City, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail outing, on Monday, September 23. Bellefontaine will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Pioneers go into the outing with a 8-1 record after their 4-0 league win over Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH).
