Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Mississinewa Indians (Gas City, IN) and the visiting Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN), saw Mississinewa's soccer squad prevail over Blackford by a count of 5-1.

The Indians (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Manchester (North Manchester, IN). The Squires enter the non-league battle with a 6-4 record.

Next up, the Bruins battle the Wapahani Raiders (Selma, IN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Blackford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Delta (Muncie, IN).
