Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Collins Titans (Shelbyville, KY) and the host Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY), saw Collins's soccer squad hold off Marion County by a count of 2-1.

The Titans (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds enter the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Newport Central Catholic was edged by Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Knights battle the John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Marion County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 8-7 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Francis Parker (Louisville, KY).
