The Concord Minutemen (Elkhart, IN) soccer nipped the host Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN), 1-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Minutemen now hold a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Plymouth for a Northern Lakes challenge on Tuesday, September 24. Concord will encounter a Pilgrims/Rockies squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN). The Pilgrims/Rockies record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Lake Central moves to 5-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN) to encounter the Trojans in a Duneland challenge on Wednesday, September 25. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Chesterton lost 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Harrison (West Lafayette, IN)
