In Saturday's non-league contest, the Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH) soccer team routed the visiting Swanton Bulldogs (Swanton, OH), by a count of 6-2.

Next, the Comets battle the Eastwood Eagles (Pemberville, OH) in a Northern Buckeye contest, on Wednesday, September 25. Genoa Area will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 2-7 record after their 11-0 league loss to Maumee (Maumee, OH).
