Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Holy Cross moves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Blue Ridge (New Milford, PA) to clash with the Raiders in a Lackawanna - Division III test on Tuesday, September 24. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-5. Blue Ridge lost 5-1 in their recent league test against Riverside (Taylor, PA)

The Spartans now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain View for a Lackawanna - Division II test on Tuesday, September 24.
