Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL), 5-3 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Lincoln-Way West moves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL) to clash with the Vikings in a SouthWest Suburban Blue test on Tuesday, September 24. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 3-6. Homewood-Flossmoor 2-2 in their recent non-league test against Manteno (Manteno, IL)

The Kays now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thornton for a SICA test on Thursday, September 26. Kankakee will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 9-0 league win over Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.
