In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Mankato West Scarlets soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Mound-Westonka White Hawks.
The Scarlets (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Owatonna was edged by Farmington (Farmington, MN), 2-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the White Hawks confront the Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 23. Mound-Westonka will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Thunder go into the outing with a 1-7 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN).
