Next, the Spartans meet the Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 23. Battle will attempt to advance on its 8-13 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 10-6 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Waynesville (Waynesville, MO).

The Yellowjackets (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Paris (Paris, MO). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Paris prevailed over Scotland County (Memphis, MO), 13-3, in a non-league test.
