In Saturday's league test, the Okarche Warriors (Okarche, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the host Burns Flat-Dill City Eagles (Burns Flat, OK), by a count of 12-2.
Next, the Warriors meet the Hennessey Eagles (Hennessey, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Okarche will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 13-15 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Sentinel (Sentinel, OK).
The Eagles (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Carnegie (Carnegie, OK). The Wildcats enter the Class A challenge with a 17-7 record. In their last challenge, Carnegie was routed by Binger-Oney (Binger, OK), 9-6, in a non-league challenge.
