The Northside Patriots triumphed over the host Cherokee Warriors softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots meet the Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 18-2 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Marietta (Marietta, GA).
The Warriors (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, River Ridge was routed by Cambridge (Milton, GA), 5-4, in a non-league challenge.
