The Smithville Warriors overwhelmed the host Chrisman Bears softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors meet the Raytown South Cardinals (Raytown, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 23. Smithville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Winnetonka (Kansas City, MO).
The Bears (3-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Platte County (Platte City, MO). The Pirates go into the non-league challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Platte County toppled Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE), 7-1, in a non-league challenge.
