Colorado High School Softball - Pueblo County sneaks past Frederick

September 21, 2024: Frederick, CO 80504

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Pueblo County Hornets softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Frederick Golden Eagles.

The Hornets (17-1) will now prepare for their match against Pueblo Central (Pueblo, CO). The Wildcats come into the 4A South Central match with a 14-4 record. In their last match, Pueblo Central nipped Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO), 18-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles confront the Niwot Cougars (Niwot, CO) in a 5A/4A/3A Granite Peaks match, on Tuesday, September 24. Frederick will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 10-3 record after their 10-0 league win over Horizon (Thornton, CO).
