In Saturday's non-league test, the Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) softball squad the visiting Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO), by a tally of 12-9.

Next, the Crusaders meet the Southern Boone Eagles (Ashland, MO) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 24. Helias will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 16-6 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Parkway West (Ballwin, MO).

The Bulldogs (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Sikeston (Sikeston, MO). The Bulldogs go into the Class 3 District 1 test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Sikeston was routed by Poplar Bluff (Poplar Bluff, MO), 12-5, in a non-league test.
