The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO) and the visiting Howell Central Spartans (St. Charles, MO), observed Rock Bridge's softball team get by Howell Central by a tally of 12-5.

The Bruins (14-5) will now prepare for their bout against Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 13-4 record. In their last bout, Raymore-Peculiar was routed by Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO), 2-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Timberland T-Wolves (Wentzville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 21. Howell Central will attempt to advance on its 10-9 season record. The T-Wolves go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 5-1 non-league win over North Point (Wentzville, MO).
