Illinois High School Volleyball - Henry-Senachwine over Abingdon/Avon

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Henry-Senachwine Mallards volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes.

The Mallards (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mercer County (Aledo, IL). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Mercer County beat Kewanee (Kewanee, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tornadoes play the Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Abingdon/Avon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Bunnies come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to LeRoy (LeRoy, IL).
