Virginia High School Volleyball - Alleghany over Parry McCluer

The Alleghany Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Parry McCluer Fighting Blues to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now have a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to James River for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21. Alleghany will play a Knights team coming off a 3-1 league win over Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Knights record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Parry McCluer drops to 6-7 on the campaign. The Fighting blues travel to Rustburg (Rustburg, VA) to play the Red Devils in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21. The Red Devils come into the outing with a record of 4-2. Rustburg won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Heritage (Lynchburg, VA)
