Illinois High School Volleyball - River Ridge over Ashton-Franklin Center

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting River Ridge Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders.

The Wildcats (5-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL). The Storm come into the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Bureau Valley beat Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders play the Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Ashton-Franklin Center will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Steamers come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wilton (Wilton, IA).
