In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host River Valley Falcons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Balboa Buccaneers.

The Falcons (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Vacaville (Vacaville, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 16-3 record. In their last challenge, Vacaville beat Vanden (Fairfield, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Buccaneers play the Rosemont Wolverine (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Balboa will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Wolverine come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA).
