In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Byron Center Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the East Kentwood Falcons.
The Bulldogs (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI). The Maroon Giants come into the non-league challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Kalamazoo Central was beaten by Gull Lake (Richland, MI), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Fruitport Trojans (Fruitport, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. East Kentwood will attempt to upgrade on its 16-15 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Godwin Heights (Wyoming, MI).
