Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Carrollwood Day Patriots (Tampa, FL), observed Marist's volleyball team hold off Carrollwood Day by a tally of 2-1.

The RedHawks (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Griffins enter the non-league contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Los Alamitos got by Millennium (Goodyear, AZ), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Patriots meet the Assumption Rockets (Louisville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 21. Carrollwood Day will attempt to upgrade on its 17-3 season record. The Rockets enter the contest with a 16-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA).
