The Clairemont Chieftains edged the visiting Victory Christian Academy Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Chieftains confront the San Diego Cavers (San Diego, CA) in a City - City game, on Tuesday, September 24. Clairemont will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Cavers go into the game with a 5-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA).

The Knights (6-15) will now prepare for their game against The Cambridge School (San Diego, CA). The Griffins go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record.
