In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Copper Basin Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Grace Baptist Academy Golden Eagles.
The Cougars (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last challenge, Walker Valley lost by Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles play the Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Grace Baptist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 6-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN).
