In Saturday's league challenge, the host Dike-New Hartford Wolverines volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Van Meter Bulldogs.

The Wolverines (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Humboldt (Humboldt, IA). The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Humboldt beat Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA) in a challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Van Meter will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a 19-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA).
