The Knights now have a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Belleville East for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21. Metro-East Lutheran will play a Lancers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Belleville West (Belleville, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, East St. Louis drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Cahokia (Cahokia, IL) to play the Comanches in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21.
