In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Grants Pass Cavemen volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Woodburn Bulldogs.

The Cavemen (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR). The Lakers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Lake Oswego lost by St. Mary's Academy (Portland, OR), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Monday, September 23. Woodburn will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Oregon City (Oregon City, OR).
