The Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA) volleyball knocked off the host Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The J-Hawks now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Union for a bout on Tuesday, September 24. Jesup will clash with a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league win over Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Knights record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Notre Dame drops to 12-7 on the campaign. The Nikes travel to Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league game on Thursday, October 3. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 6-4.
