Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) and the visiting Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA), observed Shenandoah's volleyball team top Lamoni by a count of 2-0.

The Mustangs (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Knights enter the contest with a 24-1 record. In their last contest, Kuemper notched a victory over Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Demons confront the Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 24. Lamoni will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Sabers enter the match with a 5-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cardinal (Eldon, IA).
