In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Maywood CES Wolfpack volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Smidt Tech Grey Wolves.

The Wolfpack (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA). The Nighthawks come into the Southern challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Maywood Academy lost by Grant (Van Nuys, CA), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Grey Wolves play the Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Smidt Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA).
