In Saturday's non-league match, the McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY) volleyball squad prevailed the host Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), by a final score of 2-0.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 21. McCreary Central will attempt to advance on its 7-10 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 1-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY).

The Hornets (7-13) will now prepare for their match against Foundation Christian Academy (Bowling Green, KY). The Falcons enter the non-league match with a 5-14 record. In their last match, Foundation Christian Academy gained a win over Caverna (Horse Cave, KY), 2-0, in a non-league match.
