With the win, Mediapolis advances its record to 8-10 on the season. The Bulldogs host New London (New London, IA) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-9. New London lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA)

The Eagles now sport a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lisbon for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. Midland will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Branch (West Branch, IA). The Lions record now stands at 12-5.
