In Saturday's non-league match, the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) volleyball squad prevailed the host Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Hornets confront the Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 21. Metcalfe County will attempt to move on its 7-13 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 1-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY).
