The Midland Eagles volleyball squad (Wyoming, IA), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA)

With the win, West Branch improves its record to 4-10 on the season. The Bears host West Liberty (West Liberty, IA) to encounter the Comets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Comets go into the battle with a record of 13-5.

The Eagles now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mediapolis for a battle on Saturday, September 21. Midland will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Burlington (West Burlington, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-6.
