Virginia High School Volleyball - Mount Vernon West Springfield

West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Springfield advances its record to 15-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 4-3. Woodbridge won 3-1 in their recent league test against Hylton (Woodbridge, VA)

The Majors now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hayfield for a National test on Monday, September 23. Mount Vernon will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 4-4.
