Michigan High School Volleyball - Mt. Pleasant over Nouvel Catholic Central

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) and the host Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI), observed Mt. Pleasant's volleyball team top Nouvel Catholic Central by a tally of 2-0.

The Oilers (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Irish enter the non-league contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart Academy beat Coleman (Coleman, MI), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 23. Nouvel Catholic Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Hornets enter the contest with a 4-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Chelsea (Chelsea, MI).
