The Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) volleyball were victorious over the visiting North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA), 2-0 in Saturday's league bout.
The Cubs now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pella for a bout on Saturday, September 21. Nevada will clash with a Dutch team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA). The Dutch record now stands at 22-4.
With the loss, North Polk drops to 11-11 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Carroll (Carroll, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 24.
