In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Northridge Jaguars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Southside Panthers.

The Jaguars (13-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Helena (Helena, AL). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Helena was nudged by Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 23. Southside will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 15-14 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Oneonta (Oneonta, AL).
