In Saturday's non-league match, the South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) volleyball squad tipped the host Orthopaedic Vipers (Los Angeles, CA), by a final score of 1-0.
Next up, the Rams confront the Larchmont Charter Timberwolves (West Hollywood, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 21. South Gate will attempt to advance on its 7-13 season record. The Timberwolves enter the match with a 8-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Horace Mann UCLA Community (Los Angeles, CA).
The Vipers (8-8) will now prepare for their match against Annenberg (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers enter the Freeway match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Annenberg held off Aspire Ollin (Huntington Park, CA), 3-1, in a league match.
