Rockford Warriors (Rockford, IA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Rockford advances its record to 11-8 on the season. The Warriors host North Butler (Greene, IA) to face the Bearcats in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Bearcats go into the test with a record of 3-11.
The Stars now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nashua-Plainfield for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Starmont will face a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Osage (Osage, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 1-7.
