In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Winfield Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the South Lamar Stallions.
The Pirates (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayette County (Fayette, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 16-3 record. In their last challenge, Fayette County beat Haleyville (Haleyville, AL), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Stallions meet the Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. South Lamar will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Haleyville (Haleyville, AL).
